Donation FAQ

1) I have donated the wrong amount and would like to get refund. How do I go about getting a refund?
Please get in touch with Ian, Group General Manager at [email protected] or Esther, Assistant Account Manager at [email protected]. Once the donated amount is transferred and verified, a refund cheque will be issued within 14 working days.

2) My card has been charged twice or wrongly charged. What should I do?
Please refer to the above.

3) What will my donation be used for?
The donation will be used to alleviate the RM4 million / annum operational costs of the arts centre including technical maintenance, building / theatre maintenance, overheads and utilities.

This fund will not be used for productions / shows unless it is otherwise stated. Donors can choose to channel their donations to klpac operations over productions by making an indication on the online form.

4) Is the donation tax exempted?
All donations are not tax exempted but receipt can be given upon request.

5) How do I know if my online donation is successful?
Firstly, you will get a notification from your respective bank. Secondly, you will receive a notification email from klpac.

 

6) What form of acknowledgement will I get?

All donors will have their names featured on the “Patron of the Arts” panels at klpac’s Lobby.

7) Can I donate anonymously without acknowledgement or receipt?
Yes, you can choose to remain anonymous. However, for internal record purposes, please do provide us with your name and contact information.

9) I am not comfortable with online donation. Is there another way for me to make a donation?
You can donate via cash, cheque, bank transfer or TT for those residing overseas.

IMPORTANT: Please send a copy of the transaction receipt to [email protected] and [email protected] for accounts purposes and indicate “Patron of the Arts” in the subject line. If you wish to remain anonymous, please indicate in the email as well.
