Founded by former klpac’s director-in-residence Kelvin Wong and first premiered in 2010, INDICINELIVE! (in-dee-SEE-nee-live-!) satirises the insane society we live in through a high-octane line-up of everyday characters, familiar situations, and parodies of songs we’ve heard and are all too familiar with. INDICINELIVE! is, essentially, a generous serving of how we see the world in fun-sized pieces – nothing quite like laughing at ourselves at the end of the day.
A collaboration between SIFU Productions and The Actors Studio Teater Seni Rakyat, supported by the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre, INDICINELIVE! 7 will be the comedy revue’s return to a live stage since the emergence of Covid19. Featuring a brand new ensemble cast and writing team under the direction of Freddy Tan alongside Siti Farrah Abdullah and UiHua.
INDICINELIVE! 7 is ready to set the audience ablaze with high-energy performances of satire and parodies focusing on Malaysian socio-cultural and political issues.

Children accompanying fully-vaccinated parents may enter and attend live performances.

klpac & TAS’ losses due to Covid-19 have exceeded RM2 million and its venue has been deprived of audiences for 377 days. It requires a minimum of RM130,000 per month to stay afloat.
