With festivals in 14 countries, there is no stopping the SHORT+SWEET mania…
Since 2008, SHORT+SWEET Malaysia has been an annual feature in klpac’s programming. What makes the festival so popular is its unique format. It only premieres new works that are 10 minutes or less. Not only will you be the first to watch these new creations but, in a single night, you get to watch a whole host of different works.
SHORT+SWEET Malaysia 2020 kicked off in October 2020 with SHORT+SWEET Film followed by SHORT+SWEET Stand-Up Comedy+Song and SHORT+SWEET Musical. Unfortunately, the festival was put on pause due to the CMCO.
Fast forward to 2021, klpac premiered SHORT+SWEET Dance and SHORT+SWEET Theatre online on CloudTheatre in June. The recording will now be made available on CloudTheatre Revive where you can view it anytime, anywhere using their pay-per-view (on demand) service. One ticket will give you access to 5 dance works and 4 short plays.
